Start with Scope Management, Scope is nothing but single most truth about what is in the project and what is not in the project.
As a Project Manager, Scope Management Plan is the tool that helps shielding against all kinds of Scope Creep.
Many of the times, users are changing the requirement. I am not against anyone here 😂. Its not users fault, because of reasons beyond control of user, the project scope getting changed – reasons can be – change in regulatory requirements, change in location, due to learning curve during the project etc.
Learning curve during the project – this is the single most reason why I recommend to use Visualization Technique to ensure all the details are taken care during planning process. Visualization of how things are going to be once project getting final shape.
As we are in digitized world, this has made easy using 3D diagrams or also use of AR/VR/MR technology. I remember one of the biopharma projects, where we used the 3D modelling for entire plant which has helped us finalizing the panel layout, utilities piping laying inside rooms, fermenters accessibility for additions etc.
Leverage technology to the best use of managing the projects shall excel in project management to complete the project on time, within budget and more important is to complete within defined scope.
